Summer!!
Summer has totally come here in NYC!
There are a lot of events waiting for you♪
such as….
- Independence Day Fireworks, starting from 9:20pm on Hudson River
- Restaurant week July/12 – 25
- My Birthday!!!
In the summer time….
I know some ppl are crazy about putting sunscreen whenever they are out including Me,
BUT
One thing I wanna warn you guys.

Since I love to make cosmetics by hand, I studied a lot about Essential oils and some adjectives to cosmetic.
And I found that the some sunscreens on market are very dangerous to your skin!!
Most of the sunscreen has “Titanium Dioxide” and/or “Zinc Oxide” as an active ingredients.
Titanium Dioxide prevents from UVB which gives you “Sunburn” and shows in “SPF”
Zinc Oxide prevents from UVA which gives you “Suntan” and shows in “PA++”
Of course no one wants to get all white when you apply the sunscreen, so ppl tend to buy something saying “micro particles”
This is the problem!

and, Titnium Deoxide cause Lung cancer if you take it by breathing.
(There’s no penetration from the skin if regular-sized Titanium Deoxide, totally safe!)
Means…..
Spray-on Sunscreen is Very Dangerous!!
You may have chances to inhale the spray, even the friends around you would do!
What’s the worst is…
“Oxybenzone” or “PABA (Poly Aminobenzoic Acid) in the ingredients,
THIS IS THE MOST DANGEROUS!!
These cause skin cancer, even much worse than you are under the sun without any screens.
I found one sunscreen for BABIES which I bought at Whole Foods contains “PABA”!!
GARBAGE…!!

You might look awkward when you get white with a safe sunscreen, but that is the one that protects you from what you don’t want to get.

Grand Theft Auto 4…
I am so addicted to “Grand Theft Auto 4″ on PS3!
This version is modeled on NYC.
The city looks very NYC!
And… I drive like KRAZY!
Hope I won’t do this when I REAL drive in the city….

Camilo Villegas Won!
Yeah!
Camilo Villegas, who is Colombian 28-year-old guy AKA Spider Man, is my favorite golfer!
Not only he is a good looking guy (to me ;p ), also how he dresses (provided by J. Lindberg) on the green is I think the best of any other golfers in the world.
He won the “Honda Classic” tournament yesterday~~~!
I always watch him on TV or on a golf course ( went to US Open @ Bethpage, NY to see him & Tiger, and followed Camilo every day! ) and give him a big cheer of mine with <3 <3 ;p,,,,,
BUT, yesterday, I totally forgot about this game, and missed out the moment of his victory.....
Anyway,
I want Camilo to earn more titles this year while Tiger's absence!

Can’t wait!
Can’t wait to see this movie!
“Alice in Wonderland 3D”
I went to see “Abater”, but I couldn’t concentrate on the movie… bc of irretation of the 3D glasses!!
Watching 3D pictures or movies require the glasses since 3D technique was born.
Animation skills have been grown a lot but the 3D tech hasn’t changed at all!
They (movie makers) have to think about how they generate 3D movies without irretating glasses!!

ANNA SUI Runway!
I went to Anna Sui Runway show at the TENT (Bryant Park) today!
I always love her collection.
She uses a lot of fur which I really LOVE, and the whole collection looks very ANNA SUI! (This is important!)
How she coordinates her garments is very eccentric!! in a good way.
She always has her own world, so I can tell Anna Sui dresses without seeing labels.
I am still learning so much from her since when I worked for Anna to right now by seeing her runway, and she is my mentor forever.

Watching Olympics?
I am glued to the TV watching Olympic Games!
US got 4 medals so far! yeah!
Me as Japanese, but living in US for almost 10 years, now I realize I am US side.
I guess it’s because I watch the games on TV here in US.
More I hear the story behind the US players, more I am into them and want them to get the spotlight!
But only when WBS (World Baseball Classic), I am TOTALLY, DEFINITELY on Japan side!!
You know why?
I’ve been the BIGGEST fan of Ichiro (Seattle Mariners) since when he was at high school. He used to be a great pitcher at school, no wonder how good he can gun down the runner like threading a needle!
Anyway,

Have an exciting SuperBall weekend!

Yeah! NYC Restaurant Week!!
I love this season, “NYC Restaurant Week”, just started from this Monday – Feb 7.
A lot of Famous, Fancy, Expensive restaurants in NYC participate, and You can eat Lunch $24 and Dinner $35!
I always have Girl’s Lunch on this week, and try to go as many restaurants as I can.
I have just had Lunch with my girls on Monday (actually was stormy day!) @ Del Posto.

I don’t have to tell much how my lunch was!!!
Appetizer: Sausage — Yummyyyyyyy!!!
Main: Seared Salmon — Sauce was so delicious!
Dessert: Chocolate Ice Cream — I am chocoholic!
Dessert: Friend’s Carmerized Vanilla Ice Cream? Was soooo Gooood!
And, More dessert in the cheese shave box!
Very nice presentation!
I will definitely go back this restaurant for dinner!
